Direct Support Professional (DSP or DSC)/ Home Health Aide (Caregiver) or CNA/ personal care attendant for group home (3 individuals) with medical needs and behaviors.

Multiple schedules available. Mainly looking for live-in weekend shifts. Friday’s at 4pm to Sunday at 4pm.

You must be comfortable dealing with individuals with behaviors!!! These behaviors include aggression towards others, self injurious behaviors, PICA, special diets, feeding tubes, wheelchairs, incontinence, limited communication skills, seizures, etc..

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensuring safety and well-being
• Medication administration
• Transportation
• Community outings and supervision
• Redirecting maladaptive behaviors
• Meal preparation
• Assisting or performing personal care and hygiene task for others in need

Minimum qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age.

Avid Quality Care is in search of a direct care staff to work in a boys group home and Aubrey. This individual needs to be available and committed to the entire weekend (5pm Friday – 5pm on Sunday). This position is an overnight position that allows for sleep staff but you have to be present at the home to solely care for the boys the entire weekend.

You must be comfortable working with special needs adult men. You must be prepared to work with incontinence, specialized diet‘s, feedings, bathing, assisting with transfers (men under 150 lbs), intellectual disabilities and developmental disabilities, nonverbal individuals, and high medical needs. You must be prepared for medication administration, meal preparation, laundry, house keeping, etc.

This is a home with three senior age, male consumers and you must be comfortable working with all three of them by yourself.
